Technical and economic assessment of constant exploring conditions of Gorevsky deposit was developed by our company's specialists in conjunction with FSAEI HVE "SFU". Reserves revaluation in current economic conditions was made with justification of its mining up to total depth.
During the technical and economic assessment it was determined to develop the deposit by combined method: by way of open pit - up to the depth of 500 m followed by development by underground method.
Because of complicated geotechnical conditions (ore bodies are located very close to Angara river bed, and the part of them are under the river bed) the projectable pit and underground mine will be protected by a second dike.
The results of technical and economic assessment will provide the basis for the 3rd stage of development. The information and data will be presented for examination in the fourth quarter of 2013.
